The Scarlet Pimpernel
one late nite in the mid 1980's i realized i hadn't turned the tv on in quite sometime. so i figured i'd join the other sheep who saddled up to that contraption and see what was being thrown at us.
i turned on the tv and the image that popped up was a close up of this man they were calling 'sir percy blakeney.' i was mesmersized!! he was dashing, charming, handsome as all get out and had the most amazing sense of humour!! i fell head over heels!! who was the man behind this wonderful character? it was LESLIE HOWARD!!!
after that night my life changed. i went on the search to find out who this illusive man was and prayed that he were still living...after all the scarlet pimpernel was released in 1934! it took forever, but i unearthed quite a bit of remarkable information about this most amazing creature. not only was he beautiful, he was intelligent and did his best in the fight against the nazi's!! god bless you leslie howard and i will love you for all eternity!!
